MC's kind of a dunce for not thinking it's a good idea to learn that armor materialization at first. He already uses that defensive bubble, and when they fought the dragon together it was mentioned that the armor is like a much more concentrated version of that. Why would you not want the upgrade? He already knows some melee ranged spells too anyway, like the elemental blades his master taught him way back when. He might not favor them but they are part of his bag of tricks, and the best part of using magic is always being prepared for using the right spell in the right situation.

What the fuck do you mean by "that house cant be used after your marriage"?! Its a mansion protected by multiple spells and magic golems, with lots of magic devices as QoL all around, whats the issue with it?!

I find it amusing how many different ways the Margrave Bleicheröder's name has been transliterated from the Japanese version, in the chapters so far. "Breithilde" is the funniest one yet, though.
