I dunno if anyone from LH Translations reads these comments, but just because Well can use light magic and is engaged to Cardinal Hoenheim’s granddaughter Elise DOES NOT make him a “high priest.”
If you’d bother to use context clues, Well is very clearly not affiliated with the church, always being treated as an outside party by Hoenheim and never performing any religious ceremonies other than being baptized (and even then, it was the Cardinal who performed that ceremony).
