Hachinan tte, Sore wa Nai Deshou! - Vol. 6 Ch. 33

This chapter was brought to you by the people behind DBZ.

Especially the spirit bomb charging seasons.

Thanks for the chapter, although it's a very underwhelming after a 3 month wait...

Just a little more. Like just a page or two more, and it would have been over.

I really don't get it...
It's so common this days. You have a good story, nice pacing and great art... then the manga becomes popular, and *poof* the author runs out of ideas and starts a 15-30 chapters arc as boring as possible with absolutely no consequences on the main story.
Then he conveniently cleans everything with a magic Deus Ex Machina out of nowhere, introducing new elements in the story that are going to solve everything in 1 or 2 chapters.

Fuck this, I'm out.

Me yesterday: Whatever happened to the manga about that kid with the strangely good wraith/lich/other greater undead teacher and monk side-chick who killed an undead dragon while riding to the capital in a blimp.

Me when I saw this update: Haha! What are the chances of that?!

Me when I opened the chapter: Oh yeah. They're in that crazy ancient dungeon thing. That's pretty cool. They must be almost done. I can't wait to see what happens this chapter!

Me after reading the chapter: nothing... Cool... Well, at least it looks like it's been picked back up, so there might be more chapters coming soon! Maybe they dropped it until something substantial happened?

Me now: why am I still writing this? I put more thought and time into this comment than the author put into this monthly release based on an existing work. Look at how much content I've made!

On a side note, why have people started complaining about contentless chapters by calling them "cliffhangers?" Cliffhangers are fine. They hold your interest. They keep you excited about the series.

People who need instant gratification started baselessly complaining about cliffhangers rather than reading completed series. Sure, cliffhangers breaking up intense action and such are annoying, but that's what you get for reading something as the chapters are finished. Chapters of novels do the same thing. Wait for a full volume if you want the full "book."
