I appreciate the manga, I'm seriously questioning your translation choices so far. Why are you calling him Glass?

Like, we get it, the Japanese author has an idiotic naming sense. But why does that mean you can't translate it accurately?

He's literally a plant-based magic user and his name is GRASS WEED. Which is fucking dumb, yes, I know, but there's 0% chance the author intended his name to be Glass and 10 billion percent chance he intended his name to be Grass. Because Grass and Weed are plants. It's obvious. How could none of you realize this?

A proper late medieval/early modern plate harness had no places that were not covered by metal except for eyeholes and the inside of your palms. What's more, underneath the armor you'd often wear padding like a gambeson or at least thick clothing to avoid chafing, and to provide some shock absorption. Meanwhile all joints would be protected by mail, and in better suits small plates attached by leather straps to cover them. The armor here is fetish gear, not armor.
