Physical intimacy is important for relationships and I feel like its even more important than usual here since it'll help cement their relationship together. Theyre emotionally and physically ready, they're in a mutual loving relationship, so they should be able to make love - I really hope this isn't going to be one of those situations where the characters keep getting blue-balled to keep the story from being "inappropriate"
