Ever since the Christmas arc I have trouble seeing them as a couple at all, they barely talk to each other and all of their issues would be resolved with a conversation. Actually no it started way earlier with the introduction of prez, but back then they still acted like a couple.
She's going to France with prez, I guess to pursue her dream, but I don't think any details were revealed yet.

Nah, my guess is that we'll get a flashback of the girls telling the opposite legend, that the ones that kiss in front of the castle soon breakup, so we will get an arc of Junichi trying to get to the castle, Yame taking him away from the castle, him believing that it is a sign Yame doesn't love him anymore until they talk things out and have a kiss somewhere neutral and promise to be together without any legend in the way.


That said I still like Yui more than the other girls here so if Yame goes away, not a huge loss for me.

I feel like it's pretty clear the mangaka doesn't care anymore. Like there was a plan in place to progress things to a nice wrapping up point and then an editor swooped in and said "NO! YOU WILL KEEP GOING UNTIL WE SAY STOP AND YOU WILL LIKE IT!" and they decided just to check out and not give a damn anymore. And if the actual author doesn't give a crap, why should we?

Yes, yes they are. The leads got too close, where an ending seemed likely. So they are now distancing them to prolong what sliver of a lifespan this already dead story has left. Someone clearly sold out and traded in having a quality story for milking the series for money while ruining it. It is like they built up to a nice ch. 100, but missed it by a few chapters, so they all said "well, we can try again at ch.200" and are now trying to make up pointless shit filler arcs in order to burn chapters until the next "big milestone chapter".
