Hakuba no Oujisama

i know its a matter of taste and i have no comment about the plot yet cause i just started this title but the art is awful

I have yet to figure out what the title ("Prince on a white horse") has to do with the content.
Idealised view of relationships, and how that view isn’t always a reality.

The story is gonna explore that through Takako’s perspective (I commented earlier that she’s actually the protagonist). Koutarou is the entry point for the audience into the story (and he is important to it), but the narrative itself much more heavily revolves around Takako.

Thanks for the update, even though it seems to be drama heavy, somehow it's interesting to read this manga.

@Jaegrqualm

Demographic is not determined by content or art or anything, but by the target audience of the magazine a series is originally released in. Since this is seinen, that means it was released in a seinen magazine. It's just that simple.

Who do you guys think will cheat first the main guy or fiance. Im going with the fiance hes already shown he has his suspicions of her already.

@Jaegrqualm How do you type on a keyboard with those hooves?

As you can see, there isn't a single josei (or even "Jousei") title in the seinen publication, Big Comic Spirits, where this series is published:

I agree that this is a seinen title. The traditional demarcation has always been where it was published, and if it's in a seinen publication, it is seinen by definition. There are always going to be titles with some cross-over aspects and you could argue forever based on your subjective evaluation of how much of what aspects in a particular title makes it a seinen or a josei, but that's why there is that hard and fast rule: if it's in seinen, it's seinen. Same for josei, shoujo, and shounen. I finished this about a year or so ago, and Kotarou and his circumstances come to forefront quite a bit more and he becomes at least a co-protagonist. Toward the end, he drives the narrative more definitively.

I really love this manga and am glad it's being introduced to a wider audience.

I really like this. The drama is somewhat believable and the characters are relatable.

Though I think this is some kind of bastardized amalgam of seinen AND jousei.

I'm out. This kind of manga and drama with cheating and unfaithful things is not my cup of tea

This is forced drama, MC seems really happy with his gf/fiancee, doesnt make sense for him to be so interested in Hara, given that his sister is so closeby as well...

Even in her dreams she's blaming other people for the problems she puts herself through
you went after he called
and you know he's not asking cause you went to go sleep with the dude

Its your own fault, fool

Also yeah, this is big time forced drama bs. Im out

I agree with @t28 here. It is released in a Seinen magazine for a reason. Audience need to be mature and experienced enough to empathize with this kind of story. Relationships are not as easy as "he have girlfriend so he should shouldn't be interested in other people", especially in a long distance relationship where trust was already an issue. This is not first love problems crap here. So please, shonens... keep out of this manga and do not ratebomb it down please... just leave...
