Hana ni Arashi

It's as if an author wanted to write typical "are they going to date or not?" manga story, but then heard that many people hate it, so they wrote a manga with nearly the same story beats, it's just that they are supposedly dating already.

"But it's going nowhere"
Slice of life series tend to never go anywhere since they're literally just a portrayal of a period of life.

I actually went ahead and read the raw. There's some drama involving her former love coming up soon, which I am looking forward to. Also good progress on their relationship.

First time I haven't been able to keep up with a manga with good art but bad story. This goes nowhere, 20 chapters in and I've seen the same bubble "we are lovers" each chapter, and nothing has evolved in a sole character.

I'm not very exigent when the manga has some good art, but this is just ridiculously plain and boring. 4/10 just for the art.

Did it get drop by the translators ? Because the manga is still on going and at chapter 66.

This is adorable. I love slice of life stories about day to day stuff.

@CptBst

Normally slice of life stories have things happen, they're just the sorts of mundane, everyday issues people run into. Arguments with friends or trouble paying bills or going on a trip with friends or something. This is somehow less than that.

Can someone whos read the raws tell me if there is NTR in this? I can't read japanese but looking at the translated titles and thumbs makes it look like theres NTR. Just need to know whether to drop this or not.

@unknownids Dunno where you trad the titles but there no sign of NTR in it. There is maybe flashback of Chidori with Senpai but like i said it will be flashbacks, mostly done for understanding the relationship between them and why Chidori reject her.

@Lilliwyt thanks. if you go to the raws (clicking raw on the mangadex page) and google translate the episode titles one translates to 'affair' so i was just making sure i wasn't going to get emotionally rekt.

I hope it will soon back on the sunny-funny trace. The dramatic stuff is really not my taste.

Am i the only male reading this? and if so . . . YEAH ME (\/) (°,,°) (\/)

The story was sort of stagnating before they pulled out the drama, and now it feels like they're trying to use that as a cheap way to force it forward. It's had some cute moments so I'd like to see more of it, but it might just be wise to put this one on hold and check back up on it in the future.
