I'm with the crowd that the manga is getting tiring with Kanda refusing to tell the truth. I'm betting the climax will be when she meets Ookuma's parents and they reveal Kanda's a girl to Ookuma

is it only me that I love the story of how Kanda trying to hide her true gender? That is the premise of this manga, the source of comedy and probably Kanda's gender will be revealed in climax (and it means the manga will end soon after that). I enjoy this story a lot and I hope it won't end too soon. And there is a bunch of other yuri mangas where one of the girl is tomboyish, so this one is playing it longer and different.

And... I guess I also love gender bender prompt, so I really love this kind of plot

I honestly hope they don't make the Kanda deception central to the conflict of the entire work. This is only chapter six and I'm tired of it. I think she needs to drop the charade soon and we can move onto a richer narrative.

I'm quite amaze why people would constantly saying - "Just tell her already". If this is real life you would be having a hard time telling the truth especially if you don't want to lose something.

Though I wanted her to come clean, but I think it'll be added in the Climax. I also don't want this to end yet.

It’s baffling how many of you manga readers don’t understand how basic tropes work.

Ending the core trope, the foundation of the story is basically a change of a genre. The best writers tried it. In 99% of cases it doesn’t work.

There are rare cases when it happens naturally, slowly and gradually turns into something even better, like in Watamote, but those are exceptions.

Ookuma is being incredibly honest while Kanda is being deceptive and that feels disrespectful to ookuma's sincere feelings, regardless of the cutesy nature of the series. If they gloss over her deceiving ookuma this whole time when it finally does get revealed, then this would not be a series I'd recommend to people despite it being relatively charming so far. I do hope it gets resolved well, regardless of if they break up or stick together, the crux is going to be the reveal. It'd be dumb if they ended the series right after though.

I don't know if watamote is a good example, I don't think the transition was well done, I miss awkward Kuro a lot. But... the thing is, she is still kind of awkward? While also being one of the most feet on earth character now, which the manga really weird.
At each new chapter, I expect the manga to end and even if I still like it, reading it feels really weird.

I think this manga is going well, and actually I don’t think it’s the end of the story once Kanda tell’s her that she is a girl and not a guy, the opposite! Love without lies will have began and we will be able to see them her intimate without Kanda feeling restrained.
