Handyman Saitou in Another World - Vol. 1 Ch. 25 - Door to the Depths

"Yea, what he said!" Lmao! Does that even work for the incantation?

And so the Roomba Wars began, as adventurer after adventurer battled to the death for this small piece of advanced technology.

"yea what he said" - yea that's totally how magic incantations work 😂

And in the final dungeon room they find...

How insecure do you have to be to wonder if Saito wants to get back to his old world after everything you've heard him say about his life there.

@dougrayman Perhaps these two are discovering new ways to use magic and aren't even realizing it yet. It could be the first step toward shortened or even completely skipped incantations.

wow, gramps doesn't even need to chant the spell. Before he would repeat after saitou, but now it's just "what he said"

@Varler Depends on the setting, but in most, incantations are effectively magical shorthand to guide your brain down the pathways necessary for a certain spell; in some settings, even the language used may be important, as it helps shield your brain from the magical energies, but the words themselves typically aren't. As long as Saitou's words are guiding his mind down the proper pathways, it probably doesn't actually matter if he's saying them or not while channeling the spell.
