Now it seems like they reported it but many other parties, I suppose those favoured by the government, had the right to explore it first. So, the MC got a footnote in the some history book as the person who found a new path, but others may have got the best treasures. That's life, I guess.

@Kaarme Reminds me of one scene in Grimgar(that isekai with very weak protagonists). The deliberation of the risks in exploring the newly discovered dungeon vs the fame and fortune. In the end they asked a stronger guild for help, only explored near the entrance before reporting it, and an actual army of adventurers starts flooding it. That's the isekai life when you're not full of cheats, can't get everything.

@BestBoy the whole "hero" party seems like a real bunch of winners. The hero is conceited, witch is a bitch and the priest thinks he is special and can't understand why others don't see him as special so he is very spiteful though still thinking he is special.

@BestBoy it just doesn't seem like any of them take the job/task seriously with some less than others. I think more people blame the witch because we know that many healthy men will think with their dick with women around. The witch uses her pussy to gain some extra protection ie she is depending on the hero having some feelings for her that he would try to keep her out of danger.
