Oh I think I read about this confession loooooooooooooong ago and some hardcore yuri fans were upset but now that I read the series myself, I don't care at all who Nagisa chooses lol and while I feel bad to see her cry I just love Connie too much, this was practically fanservice chapter for me to see her shining so much. And if you think I don't like Nagisa... You're more or less right, when pink twintail said "she won by miracle" (against Ayano) I thought "Damn right she did!" full power and size can keep you on top of many tournaments but in the pro level she's just a newcomer imo and Connie is already world level and Ayano faced a pro adult player (disguised) and did very well even before her training with the new coach so yeah, they're simple in another league.

Also ooh that bonus page, that's good... very good, and she was going "yeah let's be friends!" aha friends :)))

If SNSbu keeps up their pace of 1 chapter release per week, then they will probably catch up to the raws by December.

It seems raw chapter 76 released in July. At the current pace, raw chapter 81 will release in December, and at SNBSu's pace they should be releasing chapter 80's translation on December 1st. Then I guess the translations will go to 1 a month instead of 1 a week.

@Heap I do not know if they will be a couple at the very end, but lol, they had ship tease in the first 2-3 chapters. It's funny that people are ready to wear without removing the yuri goggles, but they are so dense to real tease.

@Serenata I understand people who ship two female characters because they like this two girls, but to be honest, I don't understand people who ship such ships just because "they are yuri fans". It looks like the painful yaoi fangirls who see gay in any interaction of two guys, because this is the only thing that interests them in the interaction of characters in general. P.S Sometimes friendship is just friendship, lol.

@SuperOniichan well there was that time in the riverside where Ayano was hugging Nagisa and that was really yuri teasing... But beyond that it makes more sense for Ayano to fall for her best friend or even Connie because they get along very well.
Anyway, I'm a yuri fan but I never shipped Nagisa with any girl and I don't have enough scenes to ship Ayano with anyone ... ALSO this was the first chapter where something really romantically happened (except that time where Pink girl had a crush with the coach but that was more like a joke) and in the bonus page they also showed something really close to yuri so I'm surprised, I thought they wouldn't really jump there because this is a sport focused manga... But I'm good with this, better than making Ayano suddenly falls for coach too because even being the protagonist everyone knows very well they have 0 chemistry and it would be kinda harem and that's disgusting.

ANYWAY
@HOOfan_1 good maths, I don't know if they can keep up this schedule and I wouldn't be mad if they don't but it would be great if they can reach the normal schedule before this manga ends so we don't get super spoiled too early.

@Serenata That scene was the classic "mistaken for gay" moment, even emphasized by other characters. And the author said several times in an interview that he prefers to avoid any ecchi/yuri/harem fanservice, as he considers this a cheap attraction of the reader with something other than the plot. Therefore, anime adaptation cut out 90% of all such scenes. Of course, I can repeat once again why I consider yuri fan's complaints about harems a rather hypocritical practice, but I just don’t need another meaningless flame.

But in this case, everything is much simpler. The author considers Coach as his alter ego, and Nagisa is his favorite character. So, as they say, do the math. As for the end of the manga, if I remember correctly, the author promised to finish it at the end of this year.

P.S Close to yuri? Lol, the girl literally says she has crush on this tomboy "like a hot guy" I do not know whether it will remain a joke or will have some continuation, but this is obvious yuri / no homo joke.

@SuperOniichan ah you think "if the harems were all girls you will like it!" geez you probably think we're all just sad and desperate then, no, there's almost no yuri harems for a reason, and there's one called tachibanakan triangle and is really bad, any author who thinks that 4 or 10 characters would fall for the same girl or guy who can't make up their mind is really pathetic no matter how you put it... By the way I think the anime is an insult to the manga so I wouldn't know if that choice was right, I dropped it early when they decided that Connie was better acting like a contradictory bitch.

And again I'm 100% with Nagisa and the coach being a thing, they're not that far in age anyway.
