Also that girl with drills hair.... I totally forgot what was her deal XP I remember her being fired up at the start of the tournament but now she's just standing there judging the games all alone and I'm like "who are you?" XD

So the final battle between the mentally disturbed not related sisters finally starts. In some ways I'm not sure it matters who wins as long as they get it out of their system, I guess Connie could use some humility by suffering from a loss, where Ayano's lost in the past, and has come back stronger, where Connie seems to be too strong.

I really want Connie to lose for once because she is a narcissistic spoiled brat, if you really view the woman as your mother then you wouldn’t ask her to choose between her kids. Also she doesn't even realize her so called mother is actually ill and mentally exhausted. I feel like Ayano should be the stronger opponent because A.shes the protagonist B. she has lost and trained to better herself C. She’s had more growth as a character.

@MolaCola 100% it was for the hairdo transition, but you asked why hold a pair of scissors, and I gave you the reason, You'll also notice that the pair of scissors seen on the side of the sink and the one the captain is holding is different, suggesting, Connie chopped her hair using the scissors she had on hand and the Captain sorted the mess up so it looked presentable.

Though that might not be what you were saying, and you were wondering why Captain was still holding on to the scissors, in which case, then yeah made no sense.
