I just wanted a decent sports manga with a fluffy main character. Not only am I stuck here with all this pseudo-psychological drama, the falsely-advertised innocent little girl doesn't even smile anymore.

Goddamn! This is really turning into a classic 19th-century family drama. The cruel, unbending materfamilias clashing with the daughter who rejects her ways. I'm really loving the art and the dialogue in this chapter and the last. Uchika is drawn so stout and otherworldly in a way. Like a mammoth or a dinosaur. Some ancient and powerful final boss.
I love how Yuika clashes with her. But I want to see them clash more. More!!!
Watching Connie here is like watching an accident waiting to happen.
Poor girl is in complete denial about Uchika.
You know the moment she can't dodge Uchika's true nature anymore is going to break her hard.
Way to go, Riko! Such a score against Kaoruko is amazing for her.
Sad to see Elena joining the team didn't result in her appearing much more or getting much great game-art.
I had hoped she'd get a game-chapter and an awesome win at least.
