@SilverWold - I don't get that feeling. This is quite different.

Hamaji ALWAYS was interested in Hagiwara. It's why he joined the water polo club, but he felt like he'd never have a chance, so when Hayami asked him to go out, he figured he would "settle" because she's cute and willing, but he still wants Hagiwara.

By contrast, I don't think Natsuo "settled" for Rui just because Hina broke up with him, and I don't think he'll go back to Hina now.

I guess we'll have to wait to see if Hamaji decides to fight to keep Hayami, or ditches her now that Hagiwara is admitting her feelings for him. I'm hoping that he's better than that. Just look at how he's defended Hayami from the other guys, now that he's gotten to know her and sees her as more than just an easy f*ck.

In true manga fashion I bet Hamaji is going to confess to the senpai again and she will sacrifice herself due to "respect" for Hayami and reject him or something dumb like that...

Or maybe I've read too many mangas where that happens every time...

As for domestic girlfriend I still think that Hina is the end game sadly :/
I secretly hope he ditches both sisters and gives Miyabi a chance (not gonna happen).
