Huh.... gotta give props to how cunning Madoka is. But I went to research just how conclusive a DNA test from a cigarette butt can be for a paternal test, and it’s actually not a very good sample. Multiple problems like interfering chemical compounds towards DNA identification (nicotine, tar, etc), to issues such as whether the cigarette even has enough saliva/grazed the inner cheek epitelia cells (the most concentrated source of DNA).
