Wait how does the friend know about the friend when he was a kid? How does he know she was stood up and he went to England? If he knew the first two things how does he not know about the grandfather collapsing? Why is Shimura acting like a super creep when she rejected his confession?

This drama is soooo contrived. You know, the art and some of the little bits are really well done in this, each scene taken by itself is full of energy and often pretty funny. But sometimes it just isn't enough to paper over that the broader plot stuff is often bloody sucky and cliched and forced.

You know, I thought this before in earlier chapters, but her female friends really friggen' suck.
Also, seriously, enough with the Shimura drama already. This manga has become nothing but Shimura constantly being bitchy cause he wants her for himself.
Hell, hook him up with Edogawa. He'd make a good wife for Shimura.

And, yet again, a shoujo author has decided to make the drama generic and unnecessary. I mean holy shit, the heroine is slowly going from cute to downright annoying. He's gone for 3 days and you're insecure and unsure of your future with him? Jesus, does the guy need to be on a freaking leash next to you all day for you to not freak out? If this was a josei there's a 90% she cheats because she got "lonely" and an asshat like Shimura got to her ffs.

Shimura is a bonafide freaking creeper that needs his ass beat. The dude has been turned down once and confirmed twice that she does not like him that way and had the boyfriend tell him to piss off. Not only does he semi stalk her, he still tries to get close to her and even attempted to kiss her while sleeping. Drama is already annoying but forced drama to prolong issues is just shit. Idk, it's still a shoujo so, things shouldn't get too bad, but regardless, this is getting annoying.

Maru should just go die in a ditch. Seriously, can anyone be any pettier, saltier and more unsupportive? She has this "If I can't be happy no one else should be happy" attitude that makes me think she's a narcissist.

Anyone who thinks that this creep has given up on making Koharu his girlfriend is either as naïve as she is, or hasn't read very many shoujo manga with this clichéd and overused storytelling plot device.
