I strongly empathize with this chapter. I despise seeing people I know when I'm not specifically meeting with them. The best thing they can do in the case it happens is ignore me and walk away. Thankfully, she was able to salvage her dinner.
Personally I think this would be better if it didn’t go so in depth with the food preparation and tasting and spent more time on her as a character and her shenanigans, but that’s just me.
