Why would you ruin a steak by ordering it well-done?

And I, an impoverished peasant just sit here having no idea what you steak elitists are on about, because I've never eaten a steak at a restaurant, or even cooked a proper one...
 
I always the amount she eats is way too damn unrealistic, then I remember most people in Japan do daily commutes.
 
I like my steak well done. I don't really like the taste of blood, sue me. Sure, if you're not careful it can be dry, but it doesn't have to be. The rare-only brigade are totally overreacting, geeze--it's not like someone was saying white "chocolate" was better than dark chocolate, or something.
 
Honestly with cheaper cuts of steak med-rare results in something too chewy, if it's medium to well done it'll at least be more tender. Salt and butter can make up for the lost juices a bit.
 
I can't wait for these two to get married and have tyranid children.


Also, Medium-rare is where it's at because you feel like a wolf that just went in for the kill.
