You're right! It definitely reminds me of Lovely Complex (and many other similar type when the girl is so tall and the boy is kinda short) but I see that this one is a bit different in that the boy's personality was a bit problematic in it's own way

The flow of this chapter is possibly the worst I've ever seen. It's nearly impossible to tell what's happening, and the pacing is all over the place.
I doubt it's the translation since I know Jasmine Tea's TLs are pretty quality.
It feels like this chapter was about 8 crammed into one.
