Nice! The original series is what sparked my interest in immunology, and even influenced which lab I joined, so seeing another spin-off just fills me with happiness.


Also, @Hounder , I don’t know what you’re hoping for, but you should know that fetal platelets have several differences from adult platelets, including being larger than adult platelets. They’re also less reactive then adult platelets, but they still end up clotting faster than adults because fetal blood has more clotting factors. There are other differences, but those are all the relevant ones I can think of. Maybe we’ll get to see moody preteen platelets who say they don’t want to work but end up working anyways.
