To me the story flow is fine. You might find the story flow kinda limited due to how 4-koma style, so it cut some corners here and there and straight to the topic.

@Tcof @mismarca I guess thought that it might be episodic in nature . Like each chapter has it's own narrative.
I'm trying comparing to Hakoiri Drops where each chapter had focused on one particular scenario ( Like Nishimori getting used to living in her own, her opening ceremony, going to Starbucks) and make gags with that in mind
But this is it's own thing and it just started , so I'll give it the benefit of the doubt. It might impress me within the next chapter

Chapters have a linear progression starting at chapter 3, but chapter 1 and 2 jumps around quite a bit.
It also progresses really fast after you hit chapter 3.
1 and 2 are linear in the sense of a progression throughout the day, but setting and character changes a lot between pages.
It's kind of just showcasing each character's personality at the moment.

Also you read from top to bottom on the right, then read from top to bottom on the left. If you are reading top right then top left then middle right then middle left you are doing it wrong.
