Don't people consider being a housewife as an option anymore nowadays? Cause most still do end up becoming one regardless. Or am I being insensitive by saying this? I don't mean anything bad by it, but most people end up getting married, and being a housewife is a lot of work specially after you've recently become a parent, you can't really focus on a job during that time...and from either the husband taking the role of a househusband or the wife taking it, its usually the wife.

@Walter_vi_Britannia Insensitive? No, but you have to consider where do you live and how much money you can work with for a family. Some can be just a housewife, others don't have a choice but to work more to be able to provide for their family.

This is so genuinely wholesome that I'm not even sure what to make of it-- pure and unrealistic feel-good fluff fantasy? A story about growing into a healthy relationship and a healthy approach to life? Encouragement to the reader to live life thoughtfully but not too seriously? Commentary on young life experiences and insecurities in a gentle and positive light?
Whatever it is, I'm pretty impressed at how enjoyable it is even lacking any real source of drama or tension. It's like old comedy SoL like Lucky Star and Azumanga Daioh where the only tension is based around the characters growing up and their comedic interactions, but here even the comedy is laid-back and gentle.

Another heartwarming chapter. Thank you so much. So refreshing to see almost normal couple. Still, Kanata is a little autistic, with that almost absent self-consciousness. I understand that it's generally skewed in highschool romcom SoL MMCs to the point of unbelievable density, but here it's slightly skewed in the other direction. Well, whatever.
