Look guys I don't even give a fck about hating and not hating cause the only thing that matters is that Tarou will somehow get bad luck after all the good luck he has had. It's logic

And thus the inconsistencies in this story appear to mount.
After the first chapter, I was reading this story out of morbid curiosity. Then it evolved in interesting ways. But it was always like a listing ship that coldn't right itself. Now I'm back to morbid curiosity.

Sure doesn't seem valid. Tarou's great grandpa had an awoken zombie just like Tarou did for years. Even a long time after he stopped seeing her she was conscious.

yeah eve is defiantly lying. but the thing is, though they act and say that eve is her own person. its not exactly true. she is tied to ibusuki. its proven every time tarou feels something towards her and every time he feels something towards other girls.
Eve might be half of tarou`s mind. in the back of his mind he knows ibusuki is a girl. and he cant believe eve would want to leave him, for his best. in ch 158, when tarou was mad and eve transformed. its very peculiar, as eve is only saying words tarou is thinking or wanted to hear. she mentioned that ibusuki was a hag, and not to compare her self to eve. and at the moment tarou/eve detest ibusuki.
so my guess was, that ibusuki thinks that she was the problem. as long as she interact with tarou. it will fuel eve. as eve is someone who doesnt exist. half of her is ibusuki, the other half is tarou.

@Hounder: In this case, why would Eve go into sleeping mode because of Ebino? (If it was, that Eve is a combination of Ebino and Ibusuki, was what you were implying)
The "She was a demon all along!" people just want more twists, as the (actually good) emotional drama is to much blah for them.
"Eve" also called Ibusuki "she" and "her". Can it be, that Eve never really reemerged form Dad's love zombies or combined with that corrupted "truth" twin of hers, that slowly takes her over? That Eve spontaneously turned into a Heartbroken Zombie, when Ebino told him the truth, so there is authenticity to her. But only the other eve twin knew about Ibusuki's gender.
