Why are you all assuming he's a love rival? They've been setting up the whole political thing this entire time, he's obviously just wanting the best for Keichiro in general. Even if he becomes a love rival, that's not apparent at this point at all.

@msaid08 I get it but I personally like how much he likes her despite all these restrictions. His undying love for her combined with his stoic stance against doing anything to adhere to the rules is pretty gap moe.
