For those who want to know, I don't really know what chapter it was as well. But whatever happened to Hayate, I don't remember reading it here in the manga. I do know that the last episode of the 1st season of the anime shows what happened to Hayate.

It looks like volume 4 has an untranslated OMAKE, and the closing page of the volume shows the hat in question, so I’m betting that untranslated extra is being referenced here.

@Ilovecats351 @SomeGuyWithHair I don't know if you already know this but the title of this chapter is actually referencing the last episode of the first season of the anime titled "Radical Dreamers". This chapter is that episode but in Nagi's perspective, hence "REAL SIDE". Volume 20 was published on July 17, 2009 while the last episode of the first season of the anime aired at March 30, 2008.
Edit: So Volume 20, was published on July 17, 2009 but I just remembered Bakuman and realized this chapter was released earlier than that.
