Hazure Skill [Mapping] wo Te ni Shita Shonen ha Saikyou Party to Dungeon ni Idomu - Ch. 12.1

Is this really Chapter 12.1? It didn't start where Ch. 11 left off... I don't think it was a future event, as it was a continuation of the events within that chapter.

“Besides, god’s dungeon is anything but an ant” I believe he’s saying that the dungeon is not small at all. Whether he’s saying this in regards to what comes after (I need your mapping) or before (only a few people have made it this far) I don’t know, because both do and don’t make sense

Apparently if you checked the Raw scans, this is supposed to be the right order....

"To make matters worse, anything goes in the God's Dungeon," would probably be more appropriate.

@randomname That was out of left field. Why did they even put it there, just to be loyal to the source material? Frankly, WNs use that plot device way too much, "if he knew that was going to happen later, X happened afterwards, they didn't see Y coming at them 2 years later, etc." Do the Japanese people think these cliché cliffhangers stay original when all of them do it? It becomes a regular occurence. Now nobody is original.

What the fuck is going on with this manga's continuity ?
The two chapters don't connect anywhere and neither shows any time-lapse that could have happened at some point ... FFS

i guess chapter 11 will be resolved later? with more detailed explaining???
so MC alr forget his aim to be equal as his childhood friends ???

I'm guessing page five is supposed to say that God's Dungeon is not something trivial (anything but an ant).

Basically, it is anything but trivial?

For Jin's second speech bubble on page 5, it's not "ant". アリ in this case is slang coming from ある or 有り得る, with similar usage.

In this case, "何でもアリだ" would be something like "anything goes" or "anything can happen".
So the full phase should be something like "what's more, anything can happen in God's Dungeon.'

edit: added full phrase translation

Nandemo Ari da ... I don't know why you went with Ant besides Google Translate, but yeah, as other have mentioned before me, it's a phrase of "anything's game/possible"
