Gotta give props, most of these isekais dont have the MC getting pierced by a laser after becoming OP through insane leveling, feels like there's still looming danger.
He's not doing to well, mentally at least. Manioacally laughing while bawling your eyes out usually means you need to talk with a therapist yesterday.
Feel like it won't go too edgy as there's no "tragedy" tag.

@saifors As far as I understand, while his skills are OP since they have 100% chance to proc, his stats are still kind of shit for this super high level dungeon, and since he has no detection skills he can by surprise attacked pretty easily. It's one of the most dangerous places in the world so if he's not careful he can be 1 shot by most things here.

He does get much stronger by using his stat points and skills wisely but I think that's much later.

Although he obviously won't die here, wouldn't be much of a series if it ended before he got anywhere.

@saifors One other thing that I like is not only are the monsters a threat to the MC but even though he's got an OP 'Can beat any monster' ability, he's on a time-table as if he doesn't get food relatively soon he'd be at risk of starvation, or at least getting weaker making it easier for these monsters that could kill him to actually pull it off. The last chapter certainly took some of the tension out of things by letting him be able to be basically invincible against an army of enemies with his skills, but this chapter did a good job adding it back in by making his OP nature feel like it's giving him a chance at surviving instead of a guarantee.

lol the publisher skiped a lot of the WN, this 3rd chapter was like 32th chapter of the novel. What a shame, the author had so much trouble to write revenge porn and some culinary arts that people enjoy reading

Why do they feel it necessary to not include so many details. Skipped so much backstory and his struggles that would have made the soul eater fight more meaningful, not to mention the whole food thing is completely changed. TBH the conclusion of the soul eater fight is one of the best chapters I've read on a WN before because of what came before he even got to his part.
