If I am not mistaken, the WN already got over 700 chapters written down. It will be forever until the Manga catches up. So I recommend reading the WN. It's pretty detailed. I have only read up to chapter 90-something and the MC is barely in his early teens. (Won't spoil his exact age )

Well.. the MC is a masochist that's for sure.. Who would you want play a game where it takes 100x longer to level anything.

@UncleRad the beauty of Manga and LN is that they are refined works compared to the WN. Meaning if the author and editor chooses they can cut out stuff that isn't really needed or even change the plot and personalities of characters completely.
