Well, that was… uh… interesting. Jumps from fairy tale stuff to people's faces being torn off to cheap obvious horror tropes seamlessly. It's like the editor kept calling them back and saying "that was a little too tame for our readers, turn it up a notch" and then "okay, now you went a little too far, try again".
