I like it, but this is a really bizarre continuity break. Sugita is seemingly still irritated after a month, Senko and Takamura have had nil progress in the same timeframe, etc.
Seriously, Sugita's style change aside (which is symbolic, if nothing else), there is little that proves that more than a day has passed.

bro what happened to sugita? he was a cool dude. now he just seems kinda annoying? also his face is completley unrecognizable. actually most characters are now completley unrecognizable from the earlier chapters. in persoanlity and appearance.

@Wildfire_desu, @jamesey: All a result of his "crush" on Ruka. If he'd stopped messing around, and let Risa climb the Big Mountain, he'd not be acting like this. First, he'd not have been white knighting for a girl that has interest in some other man for as long as he had, nor would he be doing so now (any man worth his salt knows not to waste time and energy on a woman who would give him nothing in return); second, he'd be too busy thinking about Risa/enjoying her company to be jealous of a man in a healthy relationship (i.e., he could use his time and energy--especially mental--on a girl who wants to receive it all, and return the favor).

For all that talk and presentation of him being the only experienced non-virgin there, he sure does act like he is one.

All that aside, Senko has been ramping up her cute level for chapters, now.

@Wildfire_desu: That's my mistake, but my point still stands. It's like that sadistic side of him has mutated into open spite. There, I must also disagree, since I now know what you mean: the guy isn't funny or cool anymore, he's just filled with malice and contempt.

It's almost as if he's never had a girl before, and he's jealous of one who has.
