Stablos, I don't know which language the author picked it from... if it's German it would mean Staffless (Staff like rod). Which could implicy of the horse not having a horn like the others or simply that it's female... but would it be that meaningless? Probably not...

And honestly that the author just killed the little princess off like that... in the end she and Bard were really unlucky...
And that thief bastard belong's to be cut into four, just saying.
