This chapter is what I knew would happen all along. Old peaceful guy tired from war, legend in his own right. All he wants to do is enjoy the remainder of life but someone had to go and threaten everything he cherished. So when he gets mad, people forget to wear the brown pants.

You know I almost feel bad for the enemy lord, his plans failed rather spectacularly.

Hopefully they don't kill his eldest son though... Some kind of levy or punishment would be better than more blood.

@geogio13 Yeah, thats why wizened old mercenaries were often respected and valued far more than a hulking youngling. Youngs were often used as cannon fodder but was rarely the case on old vets since there was no way to easily replace them. Old vets might no longer have their youthful vigour but their huge experience vastly outweight the flaws they might have with the old age
