One thing that bothered me this entire time is the elf that was sitting down while her friend was buying time. The entire time I was like "GET UP AND RUN" but of course this will never happen because its manga and you never question logic.

The problem is most people don’t really know what it’s like to be paralyzed by fear. I’ve had a few patients tell me what it’s like and most of the time they describe it as if they get tunnel vision and their limbs simply refuse to move.

That’s why I find it sad that most people think it’s people being stupid even though it’s normal.

Guys, you do know how common it is for the MC in manga to go save the day in this type of situation despite being cliche, although I do believe the author should have created a setup/foreshadowing first before going to this event.

The artist is really overdoing it with the filter on some panels, blurs details that have no right to be such a mess.
But then some panels look great.

Page 9, first 2 panels are good but the rest are messy
Page 12 is just blurry all around.
Page 18 ruins her face/eyes and muddles her top
Page 19, second panel, once again makes a mess out of her face.
