@caujin I also doubt he is a pushover by any stretch. It seems to me that he knows at the moment he does not have enough power to affect anything he can do in the cultivation world. Maybe there is a reason why he just tolerates getting bullied by the lian beibei. Seems like he is very calm about everything and he does remember debts and grudges.

Something has been bugging me about how that merchant cultivator got his hands on the sword fragment. It looks like it belongs to the soul in the cat spirit.
