Hero? I Quit a Long Time Ago - Ch. 200

okay well *now* where can they escalate the plot? this is getting a bit Gurren Lagann...

Just going to pick the popcorn for the inevitable betrayal from Alternate!Evan ... for some reason he sent his scrubs to capture the alien mothership :p

I'm still trying to understand why they needed to drag another Zero from a different timeline into this one... as far as I can tell his only true use was in bolstering the regular troops morale. Sure he single handedly destroyed the grunts of the alien army, which certainly makes things a lot easier, but come on, son of god could have done it with all his arrows too, or any of the other top heroes.
They were kicking ass earlier, not to mention Zero had a lot more trouble in his last fight with Evan than he has against this alien... So I can't believe that Evan couldn't have done something.
Maybe it was just part of an elaborate Evan plan to get his nemesis back, but it's not like the others are much weaker than Evan right? Evan's strength is that he comes back all the time and has a lot of accumulated knowledge and experience fighting Zero, but in terms of actual combat prowess he's not stronger than any other top hero (as far as I could tell). So yeah this just feels like the author went "so what's the next super hero story trope I can play with? oooh I know: alternate timelines!".

Not that I don't enjoy this. But it just feels as if they went to a lot of trouble and effort to bring in a guy they didn't really need in the first place.

Decimate? err... sure, in modern day it is used to describe a significant loss but that's not it's actual meaning, the word you are looking for is annihilated.

the literal meaning of decimate is to kill 1/10, it's origin lies in the Roman Empire where it was a capital punishment where they killed 1 for every 10 soldiers in a roman legion.
