Hero Union BBS

Did Okemura do other stuff that just hasn't been translated, or did they just do this one thing and then just stop?

This is the third or fourth time I've read this and it's still a blast to go through. I wish there was more.

@MemeManKaito a new group (or maybe just a single person?) is re-typsetting the translation onto higher-resolution scans. Chapter 1 got the biggest improvement, but it looks like they're continuing and did Chapter 2 recently.

I got so excited when I saw an update here. While a cleaner version is cool and all, it's a little underwhelming compared to what I was hoping for about 20 seconds.

Having read it for the 2nd time, gotta say, not as good as I recalled it.
That makes me an odd one among the bunch here, I guess. A lot of the dialogue was just so unnecessary. So much commentary that can easily be skipped.
A hero explains their problems,
Some retired heroes go: "oh you can't do that lol" "yes you cannot lol" "truly not lol"
'Ended up skipping quite a lot of the dialogue, and before I knew it the chapter ended with hardly any conclusion to it.

Meh, whatever. This is still indeed a pretty unique mango. It's good for what it is, even if it feels like it played it safe the entire time.

The reason why the dialogue went that way was to properly emulate a BBS board, though obviously not all of it, or we'd be in NSFW territory...

I liked this manga. Honestly... I wish this had been turned into an anime. It was a fun series that poked fun at the various tropes, and deconstructed quite a few of them. Of almost all the manga I've ever read... Only 4 made it's way into my favourites, this is one of them.

I ask reddit for which type of manga that resembled i am a spider so what and i got this one as one of the answers,at first i was abit disappointed because i was hoping another type of manga but after giving it a chance i end up liking this manga, from zero interest from the people,i now could tell them apart from the cover it's very interesting indeed

Glad i found it

With Isekai Quartet turning out unexpectedly fun I got hit by nostalgia.
P.S. Can you direct me to continuation of topic "[rant] on harem heroes"?

I'm embarassed that I've only discovered this now. This is straight 10/10 in gag manga category. Now they need to make one for Demon Lords role.

Somewhat of a unique read. Pretty fun as well, especially if you're familiar with the hero tropes and just trawling through an online board to spend the night away.

Such a shame that it ended so quickly. I got really invested on some of the stories and wanted an update, much like a good forum post.

This series is still really fun to revisit. Almost every one of these chapters could be spun into a full-on series, and probably turn out better than most of the generic "dungeon master" or "I'm the villainess in a dating sim" isekais these days

I have to agree, most of these heroes could have their own story which in a way would still be more unique than what generic trash we get so often.

Tho i regret there was no big reveal about the student. Throughout this manga, he appeared in every chapter having no image of himself nor revealing any details about himself (other than that he is from earth and that he isi human) he felt so mysterious and i hoped the last chapter would give us some reveal (be it just his looks, maybe some twist or something)

There is still a lot of things can be told here like the elders past or continuation of new heroes.

So sad it ended

Student is the Wade Winslow of this universe. He gets under everyone's skin, except for the one or two that steal his schtick. Then they just get under his. Kek.

Oh, and I just love how the Shouta Demon Lord pulled that THOT BE GONE on Legal Lollie. Top kek.

Poor Vegievorn just can't catch a break.

Does anyone else think that the "Explosive Women" contingent need someone to act as a foil to them?
