@fixmalve He might be trying to distance himself from his magical girl alter ego, and he seems to also kind of idolize people that can project a cool and manly persona. Despite how the stereotypes make things seem, it is very possible to be a manly cool type while also enjoying cute things, so maybe Ootori just wants to enjoy life that way or something.
