i'm still confused how a canceled series can get a sequel with just a new artist... or is this a new telling of the version that was cancelled

@lordmage it wasnt cancelled, per se. the artist and author had creative differences and so the artist just kinda quit (but not before wrapping up the second volume). so the author just had to find a new artist to continue the series.

ok to me this would fall into which catagory then.

the same story picked up and contuined with a new artist there for not a sequal...

or the same story retold as the mangaka wanted it to be.

or a true sequal that picks up at a later story arc that could have flash backs to fill in missing info


of course i would read it just the same but to me unless this entry is a true sequal then i would list it on MD as alternative story or retelling and so on....
