and yea--i dont understand the constant (maybe not constant, but you see it often?) portrayal of teachers this way in manga.

i actually watched a youtube video on bullying in japan that was talked about from teachers' persepectives; of course that was a select group, and it was a video being shown to the public, so those responses simply mightve been the answers of special cases/answers with any indifference or maliciousness omitted, but it doesnt seem that students are treated that way, so i wonder where this portrayal comes from.
