Heterogeneous Linguistics - Vol. 3 Ch. 27 - Is This Old Man... a Human?

So it seems humans at least can be goblins, if they are not always. The old man then is EEUU and part-human, and the others identify him as goblin because he looks like a human. What Mou said is still confusing though... maybe goblins are a subset of humans, or a group that includes humans?
 
I could bet money on the old man speaking harpy, those energetic body movements are just like the ones used by the giant birds the meet before.
 
"goblin" might mean the same thing as the term "varelse" from the Ender series. "may or may not be sentient beings, but are so foreign that no meaningful communication is possible with the subject"
