Managed to follow most of the language bits, but still confused on EEEU and Goblin.
Goblins are maybe half-breeds? But then what does EEEU mean. Was it a title for the folks in the forest, or was it their species? Is it Synonymous with goblin? This chapter says that the word goblin in Werewolf and Lizardfolk is a calqued version of the Goblin endonym, But if goblin is the endonym for the goblins why did the ones in the forest call themselves EEEU. Wouldn't that have been their endonym? Does that mean the forest folk weren't goblins and EEEU was their endonym?

I'm not cut out for linguistics...

Thank you so much for the translation! This is honestly my fav manga on the site and I'm glad it's being picked up on

I'm trying to figure out what Hakaba meant on the last few pages. Considering that the great-grandmother was the last speaker of her language, and what the professor said on the note, and the state of relations between humans and monsters, I imagine it's something like hoping that Susuki won't be forgotten and alone? After all he clearly cares for her a lot, and he understands the pain of not being able to tell your story through language, but i cant help but feel im missing the mark. Any thoughts?

@BasilD maybe because she is a half, that means she is either and neither from the both world, and depending on the circumtances she can be isolated, I think.
