Hibi Chouchou

Stacks and stacks of vanilla fluff and cute Suiren. Occasional annoying arcs, but overall it brings those feelings you look for in a shoujo romance, and it brings them in spades.
 
@Purplelibraryguy: What feelings does one look for in a shoujo romance? All I am feeling when reading a shoujo or a shounen is the disconnect of the work from reality. It is extremely hard finding a believable shoujo or shounen manga.
 
The lack of communication between the two characters really bothered me. Why does kawasumi like siren? Because shes pretty. Why does he put up with her? Because shes pretty. She has no personality and her only redeeming quality is that shes pretty. Shes literally just a beautiful walking mute. The only saving grace was the beautiful art other than that the characters and plot is extremely shallow
 
start was really sweet, but in the middle got boring and the final chapters were generic shoujo drama. Overall decent. As Seynee said female lead litreally has no character other than that she's a beautiful and almost a mute. At first i thought author gonna do some development throughout the series for her, but nothing. Also the same shit is with the male lead.
 
I came to comment, but Gambino already said everything I was going to. I agree completely.
It's a decent manga overall, but that's it. I give it a 5 for the lack of development.
 
Honestly, I thought it's manga from early 2000 considering how poorly the plot and character development progressed. I managed to read up to ch15, but it's not getting any better so it' dropped now. I'm kinda sad since it's a premise I like quite a lot.
 
It’s like when i use to write essays in junior high. The start is very intriguing for what’s to come. But the pacing is at a crawl until I’ve realized I’ve written hundreds and hundreds of words without fleshing my characters out and give any genuine character development between one another. So I shift the pacing into warp speed. Now everybody in the story are all of a sudden convenient to the change in story. And everything that was suppose to be in the middle is all crammed in the end of the essay to save face. The end. 6/10
 
Holy wow, I don’t usually comment on things but that lasts arch was a train wrench. This manga has a lot of problems with pacing but wow I couldn’t have imagined a worse manga to throw drama into. The entire enjoyment I got out of it was sucked out in the span of like 3 chapters that’s incredible. I’m amazed anyone could ever think drama would ever work with mcs like these.
 
honestly the last 2 dozen or so chapters were such a drag and the characters themselves got kinda annoying with no redemptions whatsoever. Her s l o w and disjointed dialogue was also really grating at times. kind off a one dimensional story where most things had no consequence. low fluff factor and romantic moments.😔
 
no plz dont add more mature chapters i remeber reading this one it first came out and i loved it still do it was so innocent adding mature chapters ruin it just keep it as it is
