Hide pendent chapters :implemented:

Whenever a new user posts a new chapter it shows up on the front page despite being inacessible, and there are no new notifications once the chapter is approved(which is often a slow process).
There should be at least an option to hide chapters that aren't available and have them show up at the top after they are approved.

I've seen a lot of people complain about this, it might be a duplicate but I couldn't find a post about it or a mention in the read first post.

Also the word is "Pending", or "in queue", or "Quarantined for Trollvid-19"

They just need to force new uploader release to have 99 days delay, that way it won't show on people's feed...

Yeah this is getting really annoying. MD needs to hide chapters until they're approved. I and many others have checked stuff listed on the front page, just to find that we've been Jebaited and the chapter is inaccessible.

nope, they're just saying don't mark the title as updated until the chapter has been approved.

@blackyawgdom what schlo said. Don't mark it as updated until it gets approved. That way there are no troll chapters etc, and users don't get bothered by false updates.

Site settings > Unavailable chapters > Hide

@MrIncognito I checked, and I already have that set to hide. I'm pretty sure that just means when you check the manga, it doesn't show the yet-to-be-approved chapter(s).

The problem is that the front page still tells you that there IS a chapter, even if you can't read it and have that option set to hide. It's annoying.

Ah, right, I forgot there was that bug. Hopefully that goes away in V5 or is fixed before then.

Looks like they added this, now pending chapter are unavailable and don't dhow up in the update feed unless you have the setting on. also shows it too

As a side note, I've been on MD for a while, and this is the first suggestion thread I remember seeing with an 'Implemented' tag. I had no idea that tag was even a thing lol.
