High-rise Invasion

Ajin's a lot better in terms of plot. Wouldn't have guessed they are from the same author.

Because there's 2 authors for Ajin. Also, this is more of a battle royale with asspulls than the methodical psychological thriller that Ajin is, so while it's not really an excuse it's pretty much inevitable to have less 'plot'.

Anyways, thanks for the mass upload, I can see there's still a couple chapters missing so I hope the uploader can muscle through those as well.

The later chapters will be allowed to be uploaded once they aren't available on the manga box website/app anymore.

Actually, this guy stopped working on Ajin after volume 1 I think, volume 2 onwards, the artist for Ajin wrote the story by himself.

This is fantastic. So we never saw it on Batoto because it was on an official site?
I checked out MangaBox but I don't quite understand what they are selling. The latest chapters are free but I see no link to volume purchases. This is good enough to buy but perhaps not at the paper rate of $15 per volume.

It's probably censored because Manga Box is owned by DeNA. Maybe they outlawed the skivvies to comply with international releases (China, Korea, etc).

Or they're assholes who knows

Hard to imagine an official publisher releasing such awful translations...

@Wolvenworks that’s intentional, as the licensed translation is available to read for free. However after a few weeks MangaBox removes older chapters with no way to read them again and that’s when it was decided mangadex would then host the older chapters. The same applies to other manga in the Manga Box catalogue.

Ajin vs Tenkuu Shinpan
I think each of them has a fatal flaw.
They started off interesting but didn't go as expected.

Tenkuu Shinpan too many using repetition methods that fall makes it feel saturated. The pattern is the same and the story line is a bit stupid.
What I don't really like is coming from the heroine, I'm a little annoyed when I see her constantly experiencing emotional distress. I think it's much better option if she learns through her emotional instability. Not brother this, brother that.

This manga is a train wreck. The story doesn't really go anywhere, it progresses ten steps and then take nine steps back with occasional side tracks. They keep introducing new characters which look vital to the story but then discarded along the way or forgotten due to how massive the entire cast is. The manga spent tens of chapters to build Aikawa up to be the biggest scumbag of a villain possible. But then he got stabbed and died in the most unsatisfying way then it proceeds to introduce a new villain immediately. The author added in backstory for certain side characters that aren't even relevant to the story nor character development. Some ideas contradict itself, like how the realm is used as a place to create gods but the administrator discourages people to become gods. You can see a rapid increase in power of nearly every casts which already crossed the line of ridiculousness. It wouldn't be surprising if people start shooting laser beams out of their eyes at this point.

@yun0135 Couldn't have said it better myself. I initially picked this up because I thought the premise was interesting but the plot has strayed so far from where it started that it's not even the same series any more. Just gradually more and more overpowered characters and mechanics (angry masks, super railguns, apostle creation etc) fighting each other over... what exactly? I want to see how it ends and what the purpose of everything was in the first place, but I doubt this series will have a satisfying ending at this point, if an ending at all.

It snowballed into a big mess with no stop in sight which is kind of impressive in its own way.

What the fuck? this manga was good at the start but after like 170 chapters it become utterly garbage? what the fuck? geez, im really dissapointed tbh
