You know, I've heard that "does anyone else smell an animal?" line before in manga and anime, but I have to wonder what that's even about?
Like, I could understand maybe a wild animal, but it's almost always about a character who's either some divine or otherwise magical being with fur...
I've spent my whole life around pets, cats specifically, and I can only imagine that an intelligent creature with fur would be even more mindful of hygiene
that even a house cat, which already excessive compulsive about keeping clean, so how do you smell that from anywhere beyond up in your face?
Maybe I'm just nose blind to it, having spent my entire life around them, but it just seems odd to me, I certainly still notice when they're in my face.
