@kingaron seems like its because both possible love interest are badly written and the story has no direction thats why a lot of people put a 1 on it.

People hate Kei cause she treats the MC shit for no reason but simps on the little sister real fking hard

People hate the MC cause he did absolutely nothing besides being the food maker for Himari and punching bag for Kei

The rest of the characters can’t remember what did they do again spoil Himari or something idk. Nothing really happens tbh besides making friends and thats it.

If you want to read making friends 101 type of manga go read Komi-san you can also go for watamote if you want some yuri stuff sprinkled in it but you’d have to read torture first (the good kind) before reaching the making friends part in that manga

Everything just seemed forced. I dropped this early on because I couldn't get on board with Kei. It seems from the comments she doesn't get any better. It was an interesting premise, but she definitely messed it up for me considering how much of a jerk she was.

So I’m just going to assume when the mention “the final volume of the manga coming out on August 11th” they mean that the final collections of the chapters to chapter 20 is coming out and not a chapter 21.

Also presuming the scans are not done directly from the manga but from something like a magazine or some such.

I’m honestly slightly confused.
