Himekishi ga Classmate! - Vol. 3 Ch. 22

So its pretty much confirmed that this masked dude is another kid from the bus right?

All this friendship and love stuff would be heartwarming if it wasn't for the fact that 99% of those girls are brainwashed slaves.

Like, seriously, this series is weird as shit. I think I brought it up in a previous chapter but the initial premise was that MC is an asshole who can turn any girl into a loyal and devoted slave via magical bullshit but after the first few chapters it's like the author decided to ignore that and write the rest of the story as if it was a generic battle harem romcom while apparrently expecting everyone to also ignore the fact that nearly every "haremette" wouldn't even "love" MC if he didn't use magic to force them to.

I don't know about everyone else but it feels stupid and dishonest. This story would be much better if the author either remained faithful to the initial premise or wrote it as a generic battle harem romcom but with more sex from the very beginning.

@Kuroageha Yeah except the story doesn't try to really show a grey morality, which would be fine. It began full black and then suddenly went pretty much white (or a light grey at best) while expecting us to forget about the black.

I'm not asking for a story with a "slavery is 100% evil and everyone involved in it is worse than Hitler" aesop, I'm just asking for a story that remains faithful and consistent to the intial premise and characterization.

I like the manga better than the novel since Amelia (best girl) gets way, way more focus here.

@Wolvenworks Author confirmed in the web novel that there's ultimately no NTR at all. (And thank fuck for that)
