@miyako19 Age gap is the only problem there. Hitomi is more mentally mature than every single person in the entire manga, she's independent, more so than anyone else. His job in the Yakuza was in real estate, not to mention Hitomi is well acquainted with the Yakuza since her childhood. Nitta is the only person who has ever been a good adult to her, he actually thought her job at Utako was fucked up, helped her out few times, actually beat her for once in her life, and in just this chapter got her out of an impossible situation that even she couldn't do anything about and had to run away. What's really the problem here aside from her being underage, we could just wait a few years.

And Haru is very likely their child. Our knowledge of future is very uncertain as we don't have reliable narrators.
