Yes, both his father and mother are still alive in his hometown. In the first timeline, they apparently died after the war broke out, with his mother dying during the raid on his hometown along with Karen and Kerkeiro when he first used Fareena's power. We don't know when his father died, he only said that he was dead in the first timeline, possibly in a battle against the demons.
